Maine Audubon

Maine Audubon has eight wildlife sanctuaries across Maine offering unique experience to explore different ecosystems and habitats and to see a variety of wildlife. Visit this website for Nature Moments videos, trails and pictures of bats to plovers.

University of Maine Cooperative Extension

The University of Maine Cooperative Extension is a great resource for anything Maine!  “Wednesdays in the Woods” Outdoor Activities offers activity sheets that will encourage you and your family to explore nature. While you are on their website check out: Learn at Home Educational Resources to use During School Closures (grade specific), Learn at Home with 4-H Friday Fun!, Teen Science Café (previous sessions available to view).  The Calendar of Events connects you to workshops, classes, events at your local county extension office.
